With over twenty-five years of experience helping companies receive the attention they deserve, Joanne’s experience includes work with national and international media content, distribution and technology clients, as well as a number of non-profits. Joanne prides herself on working strategically with clients to build communications programs that help them tell their story, both internally and externally. She specializes in standard publicity campaigns, social media programs, strategic planning, special events, project management, writing and media outreach.
Joanne focuses on managing public relations, marketing and special events, as well as creating internal and external communications programs, coordinating speaker opportunities, and BtoB and BtoC media relations.
She has worked extensively with national and local consumer and trade media, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Associated Press and CBS News with Katie Couric, among many others.
Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is a graduate of Women in Cable Telecommunication’s (WICT) Rocky Mountain Leadership Institute, and was named to the CableFAX 100 in December, 2007, CableFAX Magazine’s annual list of the top 100 most influential executives in the cable industry.

Born and raised in a small town on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, Liana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing (with a minor in Journalism) from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. While still a student at USC, she worked as an editorial intern for a monthly trade publication and also for a boutique PR agency based in Los Angeles.
Liana has since launched a successful career writing and editing content for digital publications, online marketing campaigns, and crisis and reputation management programs across multiple industries.
With a strong background in the travel and hospitality industry, Liana has branched out into many other specialties – including music and entertainment, natural beauty and wellness, fashion and accessories, the outdoor industry, healthcare (with an emphasis on the mental health industry) and technology. While she takes pride in her ability to write about and market pretty much anything, she still holds onto a deep love for the travel and hospitality industry (which includes hotels, restaurants and food.)
Liana has created and managed company blogs, official social media accounts, email marketing programs, social media ad campaigns, and media outreach programs for such reputable brands as MyChelle Dermaceuticals, Eurobookings.com, HillTop Records, Native Eyewear, Ancient Harvest, and Daiya Foods. Her track record shows an ability to drastically increase online fan bases and readerships as well as fan engagement, advocacy, and loyalty. She also specializes in establishing and maintaining a specific “voice” for every brand that she works with in order to better identify and communicate with each audience.
She lives in Denver.
As a graphic designer and art director with over thirty years of experience, Linda has worked extensively with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Xcel and Acrobat on the Mac platform. She currently serves as Art Director for a publication company where she handles editorial and ad design for a national trade magazine. Linda previously worked as a graphic designer for JCPenney.
Linda has an active blog on type and design which features her work along with written commentary at lolastypehype.blogspot.com. In addition to graphic design, she is an award winning stained glass artist using the copper-foil technique. Linda has also been involved in mural projects, and worked alongside the Walldogs to improve the town of Shipshewana, Indiana. She has just completed a mural commission for Art in Public Places, which was voted on and chosen by the public to beautify the town of Longmont, Colorado.
Linda holds a degree in Graphic/Advertising Design from the Art Institute of Colorado.
